A host of new spirits arrive at The Whalley Wine Shop this week!

New Spirits Arrive at The Whalley Wine Shop!

While re-stocking our spirit shelves we just couldn’t resist a few new additions along the way.

Fiorente Elderflower Liqueur

Produced from Italian elderflowers, mint leaves and lemon peel at the family owned Francoli Distillery in Piedmont, Fiorente is designed to “make the perfect aperitivo”, riding the recent growth of Prosecco sales and the popularity of elderflower. Made with cocktails in mind this liqueur has less sugar then other liqueurs. Try it in Prosecco or in a long drink with soda, prosecco, mint and a squeeze of lime dubbed the Fiorente Spritz!

Royal Dragon Imperial Russian Vodka

Royal Dragon’s Imperial vodka is infused with the highest quality edible 23 carat gold leaves from Switzerland. An award-winning vodka with superior taste, the hand-blown bottle features a sculpted dragon design, making it an ideal celebratory gift for any vodka lover!

Large Formats of Grey Goose and Belvedere

We have just received Grey Goose in a 1.5 Litre bottle and Belvedere in 1.75 Litre and 3 Litre options.

Great for a party! The 3 Litre Belvedere also has an illuminating bottle just to make it more impressive!

New Additions to our Jack Daniels Family

Jack Daniels 1954 Gold Medal

This special bottle is the sixth in the Jack Daniels Gold Medal Series and honours the 1954 Brussels Belgium Star of Excellence. As usual, there is a heart-warming story of simple country folk associated with this bottling. Pop in to find out more.

Jack Daniels Sinatra Select

A tribute to one of Jack Daniel’s most loyal fans, Jack Daniel’s Sinatra Select is bottled at a higher-than-normal 45% and incorporates whiskey aged in specially made ‘Sinatra Barrels’ that increase the spirit’s oak exposure during maturation.
These special casks have given Sinatra Select a richer vanilla oak character that Tennessee Whiskey fans will adore.

We also have three New Scottish Gins arriving in store soon

As many of you will know we love our Gin here at The Whalley Wine Shop and we tasted three today that we felt would fit into our extensive range. Now we just have to find space for them!

They should be with us very shortly so here’s what to look out for:

Gordon Castle Gin

Small-batch, hand-crafted gin from the Gordon Castle along the River Spey, featuring botanicals grown in the estate’s Walled Garden. Mint, lavender and gooseberry are among the botanical selection, giving this crisp gin a floral, fresh palate.

Pickerings Gin

Strongly aromatic in the mouth. There are hints of liquorice and cinnamon, slightly nutty notes and a sweet lavender-like softness. The texture of this gin is great! Very oily and silky, a trait rarely seen outside of small batch American Gins, this works great with Fevertree Tonic

Strathearn Heather Rose Gin

From Scotland’s first micro-distillery comes the Strathearn Heather Rose Gin, featuring the sweet, vibrantly floral combination of classic Scottish heather and delicate rose. An excellent Summer tipple when splashed in a G&T.
