Unknown-3White Wine. From the Chilean Estate of the Rothschilds, the Vina Los Vascos Sauvignon Blanc is abundant with white peach, pineapple and pear fruit flavours. Wonderfully balanced by a freshness, subtle herbaceous notes and a long crisp finish. £9.99 a bottle or £8.99 when you buy 6. Excellent quality for under a tenner.

Red Wine. Also from the same Estate, the Vina Los Vascos Cabernet Sauvignon. In a very classic style this is a silky and supple wine great for the festive season. Ruby red in colour with gorgeous aromas of black cherry, raspberry, plum and spice. Also £9.99 a bottle or £8.99 when you buy 6.

Gin. Our favourite new Gin arrival this year is The Gordon Castle Scottish Gin. Produced in small batches and hand crafted using botanicals grown in the Castles’ walled garden, this is wonderful with a sprig of fresh mint or lavender. A superb Gin, superbly packaged. On offer at £29.99.

Unknown-5Malt Whisky. Outstanding for a 10 year old Malt. The Benromach  Speyside Single Malt is full of fruit and sweet spice with layers of malt, dried fruit and oak from ageing in sherry casks. In a super presentation box this is a fantastic whisky to give as a present or simply to enjoy yourself! Now £31.99
